Harvard Pilots' Reunion

September 17, 2010 saw a group of veteran aviators meet at the Museum for a special event - the Harvard Pilots' Reunion. Specifically, most of the assembled pilots were instructors on the Harvard at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan from the 1950's and early 60's.

The reunion was organized by Museum member, Bob Smith. The pilots and partners gathered to laugh, reminisce, tell and re-tell 'war stories' and to shed a tear for comrades that were no longer with them.

A draw was conducted and the lucky winner, Tom Fletcher, was taken on a flight in the Museum Harvard II. Accompanying him in another Harvard was Ron Plessis. The sight and sound of the Harvards brought back a flood of memories from the past.
