The Canadian Museum of Flight has formed a partnership with 746 Lightning Hawk Squadron of the Air Cadets.
746 Lightning Hawk is a Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron serving East Surrey, Langley, Aldergrove and West Abbotsford. Located at Langley Regional Airport, they offer youth ages 12-18 an extremely interactive and beneficial training program centered around aviation, leadership, survival training, range, drill and citizenship. The Air Cadet Program is structured around three aims:
• To Develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership.
• To promote physical fitness.
• To stimulate an interest in the air element of the Canadian Forces.
The motto of the Air Cadet Program is:
"To Learn, To Serve, To Advance"
