Chilliwack Flight Fest 2011

The Museum was proud to participate in the annual Chillliwack Flight Fest on August 21, 2011.

This enthusiastic Fraser Valley community has regularly hosted an airshow in its spectacular setting.

The best way to arrive at Chilliwack Flight Fest? Why, in the classic splendour of a Tiger Moth, of course.

Showtime! The Museum fleet taxi out ready for their flying display.

The Tiger Moth and Fleet Finch show their style with a mountain backdrop.

The Museum's Waco AQC-6 turns off the runway after its
flying demonstration in the spectacular Fraser Valley setting.

Is the propeller really cutting the corn? The Museum Harvard during its display.

It was a day for beautiful, big, biplanes. Kevin Varey in his Stearman taxies in after his flying display.

"Don't look around - you are being followed!" Dave Mathieson in his Pitts racing a motorcycle.

Nothing beats the old-fashioned snarl of the Harvard. John Mrazek shows off his gleaming machine.
